Summer vacations!

Hello, everyone.

I know I haven't been writing on this for a while, but I thought I lost it, so it's good I didn't.
Well, my summer have been great so far.

Two days after school ended I went to LA California. It was awesome, it's so different there. The day we arrived to LA, we ran into the movie premier of Rock of Ages, so I saw all the starts from the movie, some rock ledges and other starts too, it was sooooo cool.
Other than that I went to Laguna Beach and Huntington Beach and Disneyland, that was really fun.

Then 3 weeks ago, I went to Mexico for a wedding in Cancun. It was really pretty there, and the resort we stayed at was so awesome.
We didn't do much there besides laying by the pool. But one day I got to go on a wave runner, that was so much fun, and I would love to do it again.

I'm laving the United States in a week :( It's really bitter sweet, cause I can't wait to see my family and friends again, but I'm going to miss all the wonderful people I've meet here and the best host family I could get.

The Artist

Hello.

So yesterday I went to see The Artist. It was my first almost all Silent film.
It was really interesting to see a movie, where no one is talking in it.
Because then you experience the movie totally different.
First of all you can see how the actors have to exaggerate, and during the movie I tried to figure out what they were saying, that was kinda fun.

The Artist is a really good movie, I highly recommend it, and it won 5 academy awards.
Even though it's a silent movie, there is something going on all the time.

Thon!

Hey everybody.
So this weekend I went to Mini-Thon.
Thon is a event where people gather money for the Four Diamonds fund, there helps families who has a child with cancer.
The big Thon is held at Penn State, and then some schools have their own Mini-Thon, where they gather money too.
At my Mini-Thon, is 12 hours long, and you have to stand up the whole time. Stand up for cancer.
Then we played some different games, and just had so much fun.
My school raised over $56.000, and the big Penn State Thon raised over $10 million. So hopefully we can find a cure soon.
I really hope I can go to Thon again sometime.

yesterday I had my first official track and field practice. It's really fun, and I hope it's going to be a good season.
Yesterday we booked our trip to California. I can't wait it's going to be sooo awesome, I'm going to Hollywood, and I really can't wait.
